Divergent
1. Divergent
*Divergent is the first book of the series, told from perspective of 16-years-old Beatrice Prior(Tris), and mostly about Tris's life in Dauntless and how everything started to break. Beatrice is from Abnegation, and always thought she is not selfless enough to live rest of her life to help people, including factionless. For her aptitude test, she gets three results: Abnegation, Erudite, and Dauntless. She is a Divergent. On the Choosing Ceremony, she chooses Dauntless. On the train, she meets Christina, a faction transfer from Candor. She becomes her best friend. When the initiates have to jump from the top of the roof to get in to the Dauntless, Tris jumps first and meets Four, her instructor. Even though she gets difficult time through the first-stage of training, she passes, and as well as the second stage. During the second-stage of training, Four finds out Tris is a Divergent, and Tris finds out Four's real name is Tobias Eaton, Marcus's son through his fear landscape. Four. Four fears. They fall in love after. Then, everything starts to break apart-like Dauntless starting to kill every Abnegation because they were in simulation and Erudite planned it. They tries to stop it, and when they stop the leader, Jeanine Matthews, they catch the train to escape.

Insurgent
2. Insurgent
*Insurgent is the second book of the series, told from perspective of Tris Prior. In the second book, after the attack simulation, Tris, Tobias, Marcus, Caleb, and Peter go to Amity, and hide themsleves in there for a while. When Erudite finds them, they run off to the train once more, and meets unexpected guest: Edward and other factionless. He lost his eye by Peter, who was jealous of his score. Edward and others are about to kill Tris and her friends, Tobias tells them his real name and it's powerful enough to keep them alive for a while. In a factionless building, they meets Tobias' mother, Evelyn. Tobias hates her because she left him with Marcus, who abused him. One day, Tobias and Tris went to Candor headquarters to find out what's happening. Instead, they get arrested and locked up in a room for a few hours. Both of them are put into a interrogation, using truth serum. Tris tells she killed Will, and it shocks Christina.
Tris reunites with her Dauntless friends and they decides to go spy on Dauntless traitors, but gets caught. Uriah is a Divergent, too, but that doesn't help. Thankfully, Tobias rescues them, after Tris stabbing Eric.
Candor leader, Jack Kang, set up a peace treaty with Jeanine, but instead of her, Max comes and Lynn shoots him. Lynn's sister is shot, and Peter turns up to be a traitor again.
Tori and Zeke arrive and tell everyone they are not traitors, just spies. Then, Tori suggests that they to elect leaders. Three leaders: Tori, Tobias, and Harrison. They kill Eric(He was captured when Tobias rescued Tris and Uriah), so that Jack Kang can't hand themselves over to Jeanine.
Tris and others go to Dauntless headquarters, their home. A few days after, Jeanine put some of Dauntless into a simulation, causing Marlene jumping off from a building, killing herself. She says if she doesn't get a Divergent in two days, this will happen again. So Tris goes to Erudite headquarters, because she doesn't want anybody to die anymore. Jeanine runs a few tests on Tris, then decides to kill her, but Peter rescues her and Tobias. Also, Tris discovers Caleb betrayed her, on Jeanine's side.
Factionless and Dauntless create an army to take down Jeanine. Tris doesn't participate because she was going to help Marcus, hiding from Tobias. She tries to get the files from Jeanine, but Tori kills her, and now Tris is a traitor. Before she gets into more danger, Tobias gets the video and the woman in the video is: Edith Prior.

Allegiant
3. Allegiant
*Allegiant is the third and the last book of the series, and it may give you some tears at the end. It is also told from the perspective of Tobias and Tris. This book tells you all the secrets, about outside of the city. After the war is over, Tobias and few others decide to go outside of the city, away from Evelyn and her factionless army. The group, the Allegiant is with them. They were safe until they got off from the train. The factionless attacked them, and Tori got killed.
Then, Tobias meets his old friend and instructor, Amar. He was one of the Divergents and killed by Dauntless leaders. He was alive. Amar was the one who gave him the nickname 'Four.'
The group outside of the world, Bureau knows about the life in the city, Chicago. They planned it, and they have been watching all the time. Their leader is David, good friends, who loved Tris' mom, Natalie Prior. Tris learns her mother was from the outside of the city, and she was a Divergent. She also learns it was David who helped Jeanine to attack Abnegation and starts to hate him.
But, there are always good people like Matthew. He runs a few tests on Tris and Tobias, and finds out being a Divergent just means they have pure genes or damage genes. Tris is a Divergent, but Tobias is not. He is not a Divergent, just looked like one.
Nita, Matthew's assistant, takes Tobias to the fringes to show him how people really live and to take down Bureau and David. Tobias says yes and talks to Tris about it but she tells him Nita's lying. Tobias ignores her.
But soon, Tobia figures out that Tris was right. Nita was going for the death serum, not memory serum as he thought. Plus, Uriah got hurt because he was near by the explosion. Nita failed, and so did he. He is a traitor and prisoner now. Tris can't look at him into eyes.
Soon, Matthew, Caleb, Tris, and Tobias plan another plan to take down David because he's trying to use memory serum to wipe Chicago out, his experiment. Tobias and few others go into city to warn them.
Now, it's time for the plan. Caleb was suppose to go through the Weapons Lab, through the death serum. This was his punishment because he betrayed Tris earlier. When the time came, which was earlier than Tris planned, Tris goes into the Weapons Lab instead of Caleb, because she loves him. Tris had no problem with death serum, but David shoots her, and Tris faces her death.
Tobias comes back to the Bureau and finds out Tris is dead, and he mourns. He tries to erase his memory, but Christina stops him.
Two and a half years later, Tobias decides to go zip-line, to overcome his fear. He still misses Tris, but he has found a good life with his friends.
